This diminutive shark probably fed upon small prey such as crustaceans. Exhibiting a long caudal fin
and non-serrated teeth, the specimen exhibits fine preservation with soft body parts preserved.

This is a superb specimen of a rare fossil stingray from ancient freshwater sediment located in
Southwestern Wyoming. The delicate rays of the disc are well defined and the specimen is in its
original matrix.
